Warranty Policy

Outlaw Transmission STAGE 1-3 units include:

A three year unlimited mileage warranty on all transmissions from the date of invoice (3 year warranty on the transmission. 1 year warranty on R&R labor WHEN WE ARE THE INSTALLER). For transmissions installed at Outlaw Transmission, any Labor Warranty shall be performed at “our facility only”. For transmissions not installed at Outlaw Transmission, Freight / Shipping will be arranged by us within the continental United States for the duration of the warranty period (if abuse / misuse / neglect was found, A shipping charge will be imposed) .

This warranty does not cover hard parts… Shafts, cases, planets, etc. unless it is determined that the failure was ultimately caused by workmanship or defect.

Warranty VOID if the transmission has been tampered with, is abused or neglected. Warranty VOID if there is evidence of neutral drops, powerbraking, first or second gear lockup, installation errors, water damage, overheating or damage caused by loss of fluid due to external leaks.

Warranty VOID if the lines and cooler(s) were not HOT FLUSHED OR REPLACED. No exceptions

Warranty VOID if trucks are equipped with tires larger than 35″ (unless proof of a differential gear change is provided AND we give you IN WRITING confirmation your warranty will be in-tact.

Fluid change is required within the first 1,500 miles, and bands MUST be adjusted on 47/48re equipped trucks BY A QUALIFIED MECHANIC. Fluids after that are recommended servicing every 15,000 miles.

Outlaw Transmission reserves the right to VOID warranty at any time. We retain sole decision making on if damage is found to be from neglect, misuse or abuse.

Finally, Our warranty is not transferable. This means, the end user / vehicle owner is the benefactor of the warranty . Shops that sell to the benefactor are not the owner / decision maker of the warranty. Customer name, Phone number, Address, Vin number and Miles will be given to us upon request or warranty VOID. Original and Current invoice will be provided, IN FULL, without exception. Our warranty is with the end user and we will have that information for our records upon request.

Transmission tuning MUST be approved by Outlaw Transmission. Your buddy who makes tunes will VOID your warranty. Make sure he will cover your rebuild before using his tunes. We will not cover the cost of him learning how to write trans tunes. A unlocked copy of the file will be provided upon request.

**Attn: Shops / Dealers** We give wholesale pricing so that you can make a markup. Our list price is available for all to see. If we find that you marked up our transmissions to a unreasonable level (eg. x2 list price) we will void the warranty and put the responsibility of covering the cost of warranty on you.

Outlaw Transmission reserves the right to change, update or alter our warranty without notice. Enforcement is not negotiable.
